Greencross has launched its new Healthy Pets Plus Lifestage Plans, offering benefits across GP services, emergency care, pet retail and services.
Tailored to the three key life stages of dogs and cats—Puppy and Kitten, Adult and Senior—the plans provide an extensive range of benefits including preventative health, emergency visits and retail perks through Petbarn’s Friends for Life Loyalty Program.
Dr Michelle Dries, Chief Operating Officer of Vet Services at Greencross Pet Wellness Company, said it became clear that a one-size-fits-all approach could be improved by having a specific Lifestage Plans to better meet the needs of customers’ furry family members.
“We wanted to leverage the unique ecosystem within Greencross Pet Wellness Company to design wellness plans for pets that cover GP consults, 24/7 Web Vet, emergency visits as well as Petbarn benefits such as discount on dog washing, puppy school, kitten academy and member pricing on food, toys and accessories.
“By evolving Healthy Pets Plus into three distinct Lifestage Plans we can provide more targeted and effective preventative care, helping pets remain happy and healthy from their earliest days through to their senior years.”
As part of the Healthy Pets Plus family, pet owners will also receive automatic membership to Petbarn’s Friends for Life Loyalty Program which includes: earning Friends for Life points on Healthy Pets Plus plan payments, access to Friends for Life member pricing on food, toys, accessories and more, 50 per cent off DIY dog wash at available locations, and 10 per cent off Pet Academy classes, including Puppy School and Kitten Class.
“We’re excited to offer Australian pet owners our new Healthy Pets Plus Lifestage Plans so that they can maximise the right benefits for their pet’s age,” said Dr Dries.
Healthy Pets Plus is available at over 140 Greencross GP clinics and 19 partner specialty and emergency sites across Australia. Healthy Pets Plus members will also have access to over 260 Petbarn stores nationwide.
